The Ingress/Egress Management System (IEMS) was developed to replace the Envoy software previously used by the University. While Envoy helped manage visitors effectively, it faced limitations, particularly in terms of integration with other applications. In response, the IEMS was developed in less than a month, delivering a range of key features: Multiple Visitor Types: The system accommodates various visitor categories, including Alumni, Admissions Examinees, Church Groups, Circles, and more. Host Notification: A notification feature alerts hosts when they have visitors. Integration with Alumni Database: The system integrates with the Alumni Database for visitor validation. Integration with Admissions System: It links to the Admissions System for Examination Pass ID validation. Customizable Reporting: Tailored report generation capabilities meet the specific needs of the University. This swift development and seamless integration have significantly enhanced visitor management across campus, improving efficiency and streamlining processes. |
